The Assistant Security Manager supports the Director of Security in ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, visitors, and resort assets. This role is responsible for supervising daily security operations, implementing safety and emergency procedures, leading the Security team, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the resort.
Job Responsibility
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Security department
Supervise, coach, and develop the Security team to maintain the highest service and safety standards
Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, contractors, and resort property
Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and preventive safety programs
Coordinate emergency response procedures, including fire, medical, evacuation, and natural disaster preparedness
Conduct regular inspections of CCTV, access control, fire protection, and other life safety systems
Investigate incidents, accidents, thefts, and security-related matters, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting
Monitor compliance with local regulations and Four Seasons standards related to safety, health, and security
Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate operational risks
Conduct security awareness training and emergency drills for employees
Prepare schedules, performance evaluations, and departmental reports as required
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within hotel or resort security
Previous luxury hospitality experience is highly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Security Management, or a related field
Possession of a Gada Madya Certificate is preferred
Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, fire and life safety equipment, and emergency response procedures
Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and security reporting systems
The job requires applicants to have current work authorization in Indonesia
