Driving excellence in pharmaceutical quality through precision microbiology and advanced instrumentation. Proclinical is seeking an Assistant Scientist to join a dynamic team in the US. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced instrumentation and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in pharmaceutical operations.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct routine microbiological testing, including water collection, environmental monitoring, and particulate sampling
Perform analytical testing of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and environmental samples using approved methods and instruments such as HPLC, Vitek, GC, UV, microscopes, gram stainers, and robotics
Document and evaluate test data using the site LIMS LIFT system and prescribed procedures
Ensure all QC testing aligns with GMP and company standards
Interpret and validate test results, advising supervisors of any deviations or critical findings
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure optimal functionality
Accurately document analytical data and review laboratory documents, including SOPs, technical reports, methods, and specifications
Assist in training laboratory personnel on methods, instrumentation, and computer systems
Participate in interdepartmental project teams or committees as needed
Requirements:
Strong understanding of microbiological and analytical testing techniques
Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as HPLC, Vitek, GC, UV, and robotics
Ability to generate valid data while adhering to cGMP standards
Proficiency in documenting and evaluating analytical data
Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting laboratory instruments
Collaborative mindset to assist in training and participate in team projects
Preferably, a bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or Science
