Job Responsibility:

  • Provide a wide range of hair and beauty services to clients, including haircuts, hair styling, coloring
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in cosmetology to ensure high-quality service
  • Sanitize and maintain all tools and equipment used during services
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base by providing exceptional customer service and personalized recommendations
  • Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and increase revenue
  • Mentor junior cosmetologists and assist with their professional development
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station

Requirements:

  • Valid cosmetology license in IL
  • Proven experience as a cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of satisfied clients
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in a wide range of hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and updos
  • Knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other salon professionals
  • Strong retail sales skills to promote salon products
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
