Job Description:

As the Assistant Sales Manager at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai Pudong, you’ll play an integral part in driving sales, inspiring team collaboration, and upholding Marriott's renowned hospitality standards. JW Marriott emphasizes associate satisfaction and career growth to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems
Use sales techniques that maximize revenue
Determine and give complimentaries to guests
Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations
Enter Marriott Rewards information into system
Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, or concerns
Perform general office duties
Assist management in training and motivating employees
Serve as a role model
Follow company policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Address service needs
Prepare and review written documents
Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
Develop positive working relationships
Support team goals
Monitor performance to ensure quality standards
Read and verify information
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Perform reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
No supervisory experience
None
