Drive your sales career forward with a global ingredients business. This is a varied and dynamic, customer-facing position where you will play a key role in both account management and business development across the UK market. Working alongside other Sales Managers and reporting to the European Regional Sales Manager, you will help strengthen existing relationships while identifying and unlocking new commercial opportunities.
Job Responsibility
Build, maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and distributors
Identify and win new business, developing a loyal customer base
Conduct regular customer visits across the UK
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Proactively manage and follow up on customer projects and opportunities
Support the development of Key Accounts
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and industry developments
Requirements
Degree in Food Science or a related discipline
Experience within the food industry (meat sector desirable but not essential)
Sales experience or commercial training (preferred)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence and engage decision-makers
Self-driven, organised and detail-oriented
Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional European travel
