At Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Austin, the Assistant Room Service Manager supports the daily operation of In-Room Dining, ensuring exceptional service, efficiency, and personalized guest experiences that reflect the standards of Four Seasons. This role partners closely with Culinary, Stewarding, and Front Office teams to oversee service execution, develop employees, and maintain operational excellence across all aspects of Room Service operations.
Job Responsibility
Support the daily operation of In-Room Dining, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and personalized guest service standards are maintained at all times
Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate Room Service employees while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Maintain a strong floor presence during service periods to support the team, engage with guests, and ensure smooth operations
Monitor order accuracy, delivery timing, and presentation standards to ensure an elevated luxury dining experience for guests
Handle guest concerns, service recovery opportunities, and special requests with professionalism and urgency
Collaborate with Culinary and hotel leadership teams to support menu updates, promotions, and operational initiatives
Assist with scheduling, payroll oversight, labor management, and inventory controls to support financial objectives
Ensure compliance with Four Seasons standards as well as all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Partner with Front Office and Guest Services teams to coordinate VIP arrivals, amenities, and special in-room dining experiences
Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and ongoing development initiatives to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in luxury hospitality, restaurant operations, or In-Room Dining preferred
Strong passion for hospitality with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Food Handler and TABC certifications preferred or required upon hire
