Job Description:

Assistant Restaurants Manager position at JW Marriott Goa. Responsible for assisting in daily restaurant operations, menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and improving guest and employee satisfaction. Works in a luxury hotel environment with focus on holistic well-being and professional development.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in daily supervision of restaurant operations
Assist with menu planning
Maintain sanitation standards
Assist servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods
Handle employee questions and concerns
Monitor employee performance
Provide feedback to employees
Supervise daily shift operations
Supervise restaurant in absence of Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager
Participate in department meetings
Ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
Communicate issues regarding food quality and service levels
Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and procedures
Monitor alcohol beverage service compliance
Manage to achieve budgeted goals
Perform duties of restaurant employees as necessary
Open and close restaurant shifts
Interact with guests for feedback
Supervise staffing levels
Handle guest problems and complaints
Conduct training initiatives
Coach and counsel employees

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
