Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy in-house restaurant operation. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior leadership team, you will help deliver exceptional service, commercial performance and guest satisfaction in a professional corporate hospitality environment. This role is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening work to support events and business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant
  • Lead service on the floor
  • Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures
  • Support wider restaurant activity including basic barista duties, assisting with events
  • Lead by example on the floor
  • Support onboarding, coaching and development of the team
  • Assist with team organisation, section allocations and delegation
  • Provide ongoing support and feedback to help drive performance

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role within hospitality
  • A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with confidence leading a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Food and beverage knowledge, including basic barista skills, is desirable
