Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager who can help us to create exceptional dining experiences at our London fresh pasta restaurant. We won’t just be cooking and serving our customers the freshest pasta in town (although that’s a big part of it!), but opening doors to one of the coolest locations in town.

Job Responsibility:

  • In charge of the restaurant floor and kitchen
  • Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and operational procedures
  • Oversee the kitchen and dining area
  • Be the go-to person for front and back of house staff
  • Proactively address challenges and make quick, effective decisions
  • Engage warmly with guests
  • Be part of the magic in the kitchen, preparing pasta dishes
  • Train new team members
  • Manage shifts and time-off requests
  • Handle cash and reconcile transactions
  • Help with budget planning and cost control
  • Conduct regular Food and Health & Safety checks
  • Keep the vibe positive

Requirements:

  • Solid experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in hospitality
  • Natural leader who loves motivating and guiding a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Genuine passion for great food and hospitality
  • Attention to detail
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment
