Job Description

TEAM LEADER role responsible for the development of the IKEA business in IKEA Restaurant. Strives to make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that gives customers a good reason to return again.

Job Responsibility

  • Look at the store through the eyes of customers and walk the store regularly
  • Have daily dialogue with customers to get continuous feedback and learn about their needs
  • Have overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans
  • Contribute to area's action plan by supporting manager in implementing it with the team
  • Work with manager to actively contribute and support relevant marketing and in-store activities
  • Ensure area is efficiently maintained, clean, organised, attractive and inviting
  • Create environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality

Requirements

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in a leadership role managing a large team in a fast-paced food and/or retail environment
  • Experience working with a KPI-driven action plan
  • Knowledgeable in food safety (HACCP) guidelines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales-driven and cost-conscious
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Confident in approaching and talking to people in a friendly manner
  • Takes personal initiative and has good attention to details
  • Computer literate, specifically in MS Office system
  • Experience in retail and merchandising are essential
