We're looking for a dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of one of the restaurant floors at The Conduit - one of London’s leading private members’ clubs. In this exciting role you will be supporting the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional service, strong team performance and commercial results. This is a hands-on role, leading from the floor, developing the team and ensuring a consistently high-quality experience for members and guests. Job Responsibility:
Lead floor service to deliver a seamless, engaging guest experience
Build strong guest relationships, personalising service based on preferences
Monitor standards and resolve issues proactively
Act as a brand ambassador and uphold company values
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members
Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching and feedback
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture with clear communication
Oversee daily operations, including setup, service flow, and opening/closing procedures
Coordinate across FOH, kitchen, and bar while maintaining high standards and compliance
Drive operational performance, including efficiency, stock control, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a busy restaurant
Strong leadership and people management skills
Passion for delivering excellent guest service
Good understanding of restaurant operations and service flow
