Job Description:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations while delivering exceptional service and maintaining Four Seasons standards. This role plays a key part in leading the team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding the highest levels of food quality, safety, and service excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in developing and implementing operational plans, policies, and procedures
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate restaurant staff including servers, hosts, and bussers
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained and knowledgeable about menu offerings, service standards, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Address guest concerns and resolve complaints in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control initiatives
  • Support staff scheduling, timekeeping, and labor management
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems, including POS and inventory management software
