The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations while delivering exceptional service and maintaining Four Seasons standards. This role plays a key part in leading the team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding the highest levels of food quality, safety, and service excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in developing and implementing operational plans, policies, and procedures
Supervise, coach, and motivate restaurant staff including servers, hosts, and bussers
Ensure all team members are properly trained and knowledgeable about menu offerings, service standards, and company policies
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Address guest concerns and resolve complaints in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control initiatives
Support staff scheduling, timekeeping, and labor management
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in relevant computer systems, including POS and inventory management software
