Join White Rabbit Projects as Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager – Lead Service at Rusacks St Andrews. At Rusacks St Andrews, one of Scotland’s most iconic hotels overlooking the Old Course, our restaurants and bars welcome guests from around the world. We’re now looking for a passionate and hands-on Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager to support daily operations and help lead our front-of-house teams. Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the management team with day-to-day bar and restaurant operations
  • Leading front-of-house teams during service across restaurant and bar outlets
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient service and exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Training, coaching, and developing team members
  • Supporting rota planning, labour control, and operational organisation
  • Managing guest feedback and resolving service challenges professionally
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and cost management
  • Maintaining compliance with licensing, health & safety, and service standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or strong Team Leader in a quality-led venue
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for food, beverage, and guest experience
  • Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
  • Commercial awareness and operational understanding
  • A hands-on, positive leadership style
