Job Description:

In this position, you will join our Hong Kong Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, casinos and a variety of Government projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in all aspects of supervision of building services work on site within the contracts and maintenance of site records
  • Assist in monitoring of labour resources, progress, materials and equipment used on site
  • Assist in inspection and witness testing and commissioning of building services installations
  • Assist in the checking of as-fitted drawings submitted by contractors
  • Monitor rectification of defects and report status
  • Liaise with consultants / main contractors / sub-contractors / suppliers and the HKSTP project team and facilities maintenance/operation team, and etc

Requirements:

  • Certificate or above in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years related site experience in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, preferably with working experience in the capacity of Assistant Building Services Inspector
  • or equivalent
  • Station on construction site and occasional travel to PRC may be required for inspection of off-site works and materials
  • Effective communication in both English and Cantonese and interpersonal skill
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Statutory authority and public utilities regulations, requirements, inspections and handover practice
