Job Description:

Freelance Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a fast-track Commercial Cut & Carve project in Kensington. This is a role for a sharp, switched-on individual who can manage the pressure of a live, complex structural refurbishment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading the procurement of specialist sub-contract packages (structural steel, demolition, MEP) within tight timeframes
  • Identifying risks in the cut and carve phase and ensuring sub-contractor scopes are watertight
  • Working closely with the Senior QS to find smart savings without compromising the integrity of the build
  • Assisting with CVRs, variations, and cost reporting in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in structural alterations in a commercial setting
  • Proven track record of buying packages and managing sub-contractor relationships
  • Immediate availability to start in Kensington ASAP
