Job Description

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Legacy. Build a Career with Purpose at Dandara Living. If you’re looking to develop your career in quantity surveying while working on projects that genuinely matter, Dandara Living offers an opportunity with real impact. Join a business where your work contributes to safer homes, stronger communities, and a built environment that meets the highest standards. At Dandara Living, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to complex and meaningful projects, and build long-term career foundations within a supportive, forward-thinking team. Based in Altrincham, with regular site attendance, this role sits within Dandara Living’s Legacy team — a specialist division focused on upgrading pre-Grenfell apartment buildings to meet current building safety and fire remediation legislation, including cladding and life-safety systems. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial delivery of remediation works across our legacy portfolio, working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider project teams. This role is ideal for a developing QS who has a strong grounding in quantity surveying principles and is ready to take the next step in a technically interesting, compliance-driven environment. The role will involve travel between various legacy sites, primarily across Manchester, with occasional travel to Hemel Hempstead and Scotland.
