Job Description

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Chorley / Sale. Working alongside the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager you will support the development, implementation, and management of all commercial activities and controls within your assigned business unit.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage contract/project performance including CVR reviews
  • Review contracts and support with mitigating risk
  • Report on and challenge performance for project cashflows and profitability
  • Subcontractor management
  • Support the Commercial Manager with ad hoc projects and continuous improvement of business processes
  • Support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects
  • Support the Commercial Manager with the implementation of processes and systems

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and keen to learn and develop
  • Around 2 years experience in a role within a commercial team
  • Full UK drivers’ licence
  • Fantastic communication skills
