Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Deliver sustainable, profitable growth by minimising risks, maximising opportunities and avoiding disputes
Assist the commercial team with both commercial and contractual aspects of a project as required
Further develop your knowledge, skills and capability

Requirements:

Previous experience working with NEC 3 or 4
Perform commercial functions as directed by the Commercial Manager or MQS/ Senior QS/QS
Ensure compliance with internal governance
Understanding of working within defined budgets
Has awareness of cost or benefit applicable to tasks performed
Assist the work winning team where necessary
In conjunction with line manager prepare accurate and prudent cost/value analysis
Assist line manager with accurate budget preparation
Site measurement
Be an integral part of the site team to understand more clearly ways to reduce and manage costs
Keep and maintain good quality and accurate records securely and in line with company procedures
Maintenance of cost information
Assist with developing robust and consistent change control process to ensure that appropriate contract price adjustments are identified
In conjunction with line manager prepare accurate pricing and rating of variations
In conjunction with line manager prepare interim and final account agreement of subcontracts
Preparation of interim and final account measurement
Preparation and agreement of any sundry accounts

Nice to have:

Previous experience working in the water sector
