Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Brisbane team. This cadetship program requires you to be currently studying or about to commence a course in construction management or a related field.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Senior Staff: Assist senior staff in delivering high-quality quantity surveying services
  • Estimating and Administration: Help with estimating project costs and administrative tasks
  • Client Engagement: Attend site visits and meetings with clients
  • Project Involvement: Engage in projects across various sectors, such as health, defence, and education

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a building or construction-related degree
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential
  • Eligible for student membership to a recognized professional institution such as AIQS or RICS
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
  • Show initiative, motivation, and sound organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team
