Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Due to our ongoing growth, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Orbit Housing contract, based in the office in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to play a key role in our commercial management function, providing proactive and timely support. You will work as part of a team of 10, reporting to the Commercial Manager and working in partnership with Operations Management. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor ensures accurate reporting is fundamental to the role and will have a key focus on building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the company obtains value for money and receives the correct market value from the supply chain. This role will be working on Planned works so if you are a skilled in refurbishment or elemental works in terms of Residential upgrades to social housing we would like to hear from you! Our planned work revenues can range from £1-15million in value and include works such as re- roofing, kitchen and bathroom replacements, window and door replacements and electrical test and inspection programmes You will be managing existing supply chain and local suppliers and using IT systems including Excel and Connect for regular data and reporting. We also offer excellent support towards gaining further qualifications; And hands on exposure to gain more relevant work experience that helps you to grow.
