Job Description:

Due to growth, we have the opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Working alongside the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager you will support the development, implementation, and management of all commercial activities and controls within your assigned business unit.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage contract/project performance including CVR reviews
  • Review contracts and support with mitigating risk
  • Report on and challenge performance for project cashflows and profitability
  • Subcontractor management
  • Support the Commercial Manager with ad hoc projects and continuous improvement of business processes
  • Support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects
  • Support the Commercial Manager with the implementation of processes and systems

Requirements:

  • self-motivated and keen to learn and develop
  • around 2 years experience in a role within a commercial team
  • full UK drivers’ licence
  • fantastic communication skills
