Job Description:

A leading independent construction and property consultancy is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. This role offers hands-on experience, structured APC support, and a clear pathway to chartership while working closely with experienced colleagues across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting in cost planning, tender documentation, and procurement advice
Supporting senior surveyors with contract administration and valuations
Attending client and design meetings
Preparing interim and final accounts
Assisting in the preparation of cost reports and financial forecasts
Engaging with clients, contractors, and project teams

Requirements:

BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
2+ years’ UK consultancy or contractor experience
Working towards MRICS or keen to start APC
Strong communication, numeracy, and analytical skills
A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
