Job Description:

A leading, multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Winchester office. This is an opportunity for someone eager to gain diverse project experience while progressing towards chartership in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the delivery of a variety of projects ranging in value from £1m to £50m
  • Gain experience in residential, commercial, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and PBSA sectors
  • Contribute to both pre- and post-contract cost management
  • Progress towards MRICS status with access to structured APC support

Requirements:

  • A successful track record working on projects from inception to completion
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Consultancy is a MUST (ideally 1-2 years minimum)
  • A RICS Accredited degree, ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Basic Pre and Post contract experience
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Strong communication skills and confident in client-facing environments
