Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Purchasing team as our Assistant Purchasing Manager. In this role, you will support the seamless coordination of Purchasing, Receiving, and Storeroom operations, ensuring every department is thoughtfully equipped to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding our commitment to precision, efficiency, and service excellence.
Job Responsibility
Supervise and collaborate with the Receiving and Storeroom teams to ensure all incoming goods are properly documented, dated, priced, and rotated
Ensure full compliance with all local and corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls
Contribute to month-end, quarterly, and annual inventory processes for food, beverage, and operating equipment
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly Accounts Payable, to proactively identify and resolve billing and invoice discrepancies
Requirements
2-4 years of Purchasing experience
Hotel experience is preferred
Demonstrated expertise in cost analysis and management
Solid understanding of internal controls
Strong knowledge of hotel quality and service standards
A genuine passion for service
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
