Job Description:

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and operationally driven Purchasing Assistant Manager to join our Purchasing & Storeroom team. In this role, you will support the Director of Purchasing in overseeing procurement, receiving, and storage operations, ensuring all hotel departments are supplied efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with Four Seasons standards. You will collaborate closely with operational leaders, suppliers, and corporate teams to maintain quality, control costs, and optimize inventory performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily purchasing, receiving, and storeroom operations
  • Ensure purchase requests, documentation, and approvals are accurate and compliant
  • Work with Culinary and F&B leadership to source quality products at optimal cost
  • Supervise receiving and storeroom staff and monitor workflow efficiency
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, par stock levels, and storage standards
  • Support audits, month-end inventories, and cost control analysis
  • Coordinate supplier performance, price comparisons, and purchasing strategies
  • Assist with capital project procurement and corporate supply planning
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and financial procedures

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory operations
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, stock control, and cost management
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage vendor relationships
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and compliance-driven working style
