Job Description:

We are looking for an "Assistant Purchasing Chef" for our global business partner operating in the manufacturing sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of production consumables, indirect materials, general supplies and spare parts
  • Actively communicate with the business stakeholders to ensure that their purchase requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Perform all necessary procurement operations activities – vendor creation, purchase order process, shipment and delivery follow up and technical issue resolution
  • Investigate opportunities for cost improvement, search for alternative sources
  • Create purchasing contracts and follow up contract compliance
  • Participate in the process of supplier evaluation, selection and management
  • Keep informed of market trends for purchasing process
  • Keep all data relevant to purchasing department
  • Prepare various reports for management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of purchasing especially in industrial organizations
  • Good command of both written&spoken English
  • Good command of MS Office programs
  • Strong communication, presentation, reporting and organizational skills
  • Problem solving approach
  • Result and customer oriented
  • Have driving licence (class B ), capability of driving , no travel restrictions
  • No military obligation
