An ambitious Assistant Project Manager is required to join a growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in Manchester city centre. This Assistant Project Manager opportunity offers exposure to high-profile residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the North West. The successful Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Senior Project Managers and Directors, gaining hands-on delivery experience from inception through to completion. You must have prior construction consultancy experience as an Assistant Project Manager to be considered for this role. The Assistant Project Manager will be joining a consultancy known for delivering design-led residential and commercial schemes, with a strong pipeline of secured work. The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in project coordination, cost monitoring and stakeholder liaison. The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of projects across residential, commercial office and mixed-use sectors, typically ranging from £5m-£40m.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting with project programming and reporting
Supporting procurement processes and tender evaluations
Coordinating consultants and contractors
Monitoring project risks and cost plans
Attending site meetings and preparing progress reports
Supporting contract administration under JCT contracts
