Job Description

JLL is seeking a Project Manager with diversified experience in commercial real estate to join our Project and Development Services team. Subject matter expertise in any of the following practices: corporate office interiors, ground-up development, hospitality, or industrial is preferred.

Job Responsibility

  • Establish goals, schedules, and budgets by project and client focus after project award
  • Provide work support for all assigned projects and programs
  • Set and maintain project objectives and success criteria that meet client requirements
  • Build smooth relationships with clients while managing project deliverables to meet standards and other relevant criteria, considering project scope and external influences affecting the project
  • Coordinate/manage all necessary due diligence on behalf of clients and maintain and deliver all appropriate documentation
  • Develop detailed budgets based on data from key historical and current markets and clearly established assumptions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients throughout the project duration
  • Guide clients and teams through the design implementation process, including concept design, schematic design, planning design, detailed design, construction design, and design approval
  • Establish and maintain master project schedules
  • Prepare various RFPs required for vendor and contractor services for the entire project
  • Lead project kick-off meetings with internal staff and key stakeholders to ensure all parties understand and communicate responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage multiple project deliverables by comparing them against schedules or master schedules
  • Supervise vendors and project team members to ensure compliance with contracts and client expectations
  • Identify and resolve potential liability and risk areas
  • Participate in training and development for skills and understanding of expected company and client procedures, methodologies, and practices for successful project implementation
  • Master and utilize all PDS programs required for assigned projects
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including ethics and business practices
  • Meet clients and project requirements in an economical and efficient manner
  • Take full responsibility for small to medium-sized projects and provide support work for large projects
  • Lead project risk management and issue resolution
  • Manage contractor performance and quality control
  • Manage project profitability and approve changes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant design and construction project management experience is required
  • Ability to prepare and track budgets
  • Understanding of technical requirements for a business relocation
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts a plus
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • Experience in construction management or real estate preferred
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in independent project management preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Industrial project experience preferred, including warehouse, data center, and technical due diligence (TDD) management projects.

Nice to have
