Job Description:

A niche construction consultancy in Newcastle is looking to bring in an Assistant Project Manager to support a growing workload across public sector and mixed-use developments. This hire comes off the back of several recent project wins, including local authority frameworks and regeneration schemes across the North East. The construction Assistant Project Manager will join a close-knit team where you will gain hands-on exposure to live construction projects from day one rather than being siloed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support across all stages of construction delivery
  • Attending site meetings
  • Assisting with programme tracking
  • Preparing reports
  • Supporting procurement processes
  • Work closely with senior team members
  • Gain exposure to client-facing responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Degree in a construction-related discipline
  • 1-2 years’ experience in construction consultancy
  • Keen to work towards MRICS or APM
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
