Assistant Professors of One Health

The Department of Biological Sciences at Old Dominion University is seeking applications for two tenure-track faculty positions to begin in Fall 2027 from individuals with active research programs in One Health, with a preference for virology, vector-borne diseases, infectious diseases, or host-pathogen interactions. Preference will be given to candidates at the Assistant Professor level, but highly qualified individuals may be considered at the level of Associate Professor. The Department of Biological Sciences has a large undergraduate enrollment with over 1,500 majors and a vigorous graduate program including MS and PhD programs.
