Job Responsibility
Deliver lectures tutorials, clinical teaching, and case-based discussions in Psychiatry and Behavioral
Supervise medical students during psychiatric clinical postings, ward rounds, and outpatient sessions
Develop teaching materials, assessments, OSCE stations, and learning resources
Participate in curriculum development, programme review, and academic quality assurance activities
Mentor students academically and supervise research projects
Conduct research, publish scholarly work, and participate in academic conferences
Support accreditation exercises, faculty committees, community mental health initiatives, and student recruitment activities
Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS) recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
Master's degree / specialist qualification in Psychiatry or equivalent
Strong interpersonal, communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
Registered with MMC with valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is highly preferred
National Specialist Register (NSR) in Psychiatry is highly preferred
Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate medical education
Active involvement in research and publications
Experience with MQA and accreditation processes will be an added advantage
