This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person. The John V. Roach Honors College at Texas Christian University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice (PPP) position in the College’s core interdisciplinary faculty beginning August 2026. Ideal candidates will be able to teach and create interdisciplinary courses across a variety of contexts that appeal to students in the John V. Roach Honors College. The base teaching load is 4/3, and all sections are limited to 20 students or fewer.
Job Responsibility:
Teach and create interdisciplinary courses across a variety of contexts
Facilitate high-impact, experiential, and community-building practices for undergraduate honors students
Engage in student mentoring
Enrich the College’s contributions to students and the TCU community
Elevate the national profile of the John V. Roach Honors College
Requirements:
Ph.D. or terminal degree in their field of expertise
University-level teaching, administrative, and/or appropriate professional experience
Experience with active and experiential learning
Experience with discussion seminars
Nice to have:
Honors or interdisciplinary teaching experience (or equivalent)
