Job Responsibility
Prepare teaching materials, deliver lectures, practical sessions, and assessments for the Occupational Therapy program, while providing student feedback
Serve as Program Lead to manage academic schedules, timetables, teaching workloads, resource coordination, and faculty mentoring
Lead curriculum development and review to maintain compliance with MQA, professional bodies, and university academic standards
Conduct and publish independent or collaborative research, apply for grants, and lead departmental research initiatives for faculty and students
Mentor students in academic and research progression, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in institutional committees and audits
Requirements
Hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline, with a PhD preferred
Possess at least 10 years of relevant professional experience
Maintain professional registration with the relevant authority, where applicable
Have higher education teaching experience, which is preferred
Demonstrate experience in program leadership, curriculum development, and familiarity with accreditation and quality assurance processes
Show a track record of research and scholarly activity
