Developed his/her own research and teaching interests and is becoming known nationally for his/her work
Publish regularly in peer-reviewed international journals or other appropriate outlets
Have edited collections of work or meeting proceedings
Chair sessions at, or have been part of, the organising committees of academic conferences or relevant disciplinary meetings
Beginning to show Academic Leadership in their teaching and/or their research speciality
Involved in administrative duties at least at Department/School level
Qualified to Masters’ level and has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level programmes
Research-active and is beginning to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals
Involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function
Requirements:
Relevant doctoral degree (level 10) OR Master’s in Dental related field
Minimum of 5 years teaching and clinical experience with specialist registration
Demonstrated evidence in learning and teaching and the potential to become an effective teacher
Industrial/clinical experience in the area of expertise
Demonstrated evidence of undertaking consultancies in your area of expertise

Bachelor of Dental Surgery with either a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma or Masters in the relevant field
