Chartered Accountant with membership of ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW and professional work experience
Experience with a proven ability to design and deliver high-quality, industry informed teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, primarily in accounting and finance-related subjects

Job Responsibility

Prepare course materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and evaluation reports, aligned with university quality standards
Integrate research-informed and industry-aligned practices into teaching, learning, assessment, and feedback
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and applied research projects in accountancy and economics
Be up to date with their field to be able to engage in curriculum innovation, in areas such as accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), taxation and data analytics in finance
Contribute to academic administration, including moderation of assessments, programme review, and compliance with quality assurance protocols
Support a positive student experience through mentoring, academic advising, and inclusive teaching practices
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and collaborative academic initiatives
Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain professional qualifications and enhance teaching and academic leadership capabilities in Accounting and Finance
