Assistant Professor in Anaesthesia

• Develop own research and teaching interests
• Contribute to curriculum development
• Publish regularly in peer-reviewed international journals or other appropriate outlets
• Edit collections of work or meeting proceedings
• Chair sessions at or be part of organising committees of academic conferences or relevant disciplinary meetings
• Show Academic Leadership in teaching and/or research speciality
• Involved in administrative duties at least at Department/School level

• MBBS + Master's with specialist registration more than 5 years work experience OR MBBS + Master's with specialist registration less than 5 years work
• Demonstrated evidence in learning and teaching and the potential to become an effective teacher
• Industrial/clinical experience in the area of expertise
• Demonstrated evidence of undertaking consultancies in your area of expertise. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of meeting at least one or all the three criteria as listed below: University Service (administration)
• Community Service (contributions to the wider profession)
• Academic Leadership and collegiality

10% superannuation
