Join us as we embark on a transformation of our Gifting offer! As an Assistant Product Manager, your primary role will be supporting the product development team in the product delivery of Boots Own Brand Gift & Exclusives. You will own & lead your gifting projects from scoping to completion working with cross functional teams across the business and externally. This role is permanent and is based in Nottingham at our Head Office. If you love beauty, wellness and gifting, you'll love our team!

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the product development team in the product delivery of Boots Own Brand Gift & Exclusives
  • Own & lead your gifting projects from scoping to completion working with cross functional teams across the business and externally
  • Build strong relationships with agency partners and key stakeholders across the business
  • Manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Lead the end-to-end product development to deliver these plans, from creating compelling, consumer-led concepts through to delivering the finished product on shelf
  • React fast to ever changing product trends & consumer needs, identifying opportunities to add value to our products and to the business, while meeting customer needs better than ever before
  • Work closely with your colleagues across the business along with external design agencies and external suppliers to bring your products to life in the most compelling way
  • Report into the product manager for your gifting area
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end product development for your gifting a projects, from concept creation through to ensuring budgets are maintained and n time delivery
  • Be responsible for mapping market & category trends and opportunities, translating macro trends into each and every element of the product
  • Have a deep understanding of our product development process, always looking for opportunities to work smarter

Requirements

  • Can demonstrate experience in end-to-end product development
  • Follows beauty, fashion & wellness trends, with a keen interest in what is trending within your gifting product area
  • Is comfortable with technical aspects of product formulations and artwork
  • Is articulate with numbers as you will need to understand cost prices, exchange rates and margins
  • Is passionate about great design and have experience in briefing and feeding back to agencies
  • Is a relationship builder and have experience working in cross functional teams, both internally and externally
  • Is passionate & thrives on finding new and improved ways of doing things
