Job Description:

Assistant Product Development Manager role at CVS Health supporting the growth of Store Brands portfolio by executing product development initiatives that align with strategic business goals. Focused on operational excellence across the product lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate execution of new product launches that meet customer needs and drive category performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Product Development Manager in every aspect of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) lifecycle
  • Act as a key point of contact between vendors and internal teams
  • Manage item setup & maintenance processes including vendor onboarding, UPC generation, factory updates
  • Maintain and organize key product documentation including planograms information, samples, ingredient specifications
  • Assist in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning
  • Assist in development and alignment of category strategy + product roadmap
  • Facilitate & assist in preparation of leadership level materials for critical milestone meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 0-3 years' of full or part-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
  • 0-3 years' experience achieving both short-term and long-term goals on a deadline
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Business savvy and curiosity
  • Attention to detail & critical milestones with little oversight required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong personal integrity and judgment
  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
  • Ability to deliver executive level quality professional communications, presentations, responses and analyses
  • Ability to communicate clearly to small and large groups internally and externally
