Job Description

Passionate about contributing to DMC’s service development across our Primary Care Team and more widely across the organisation, enabling you to be involved in the decisions that affect our care delivery. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated APM to join our team and develop our services. You should be a keen learner, passionate about your clinical development and able to communicate well at all levels.

Job Responsibility

  • Help manage key customer accounts and day to day operations within DMC Primary Care GP Practices
  • Support the Practice Manager in all aspects of operational management
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of the practice
  • Be the practice Human Resource lead
  • Ensure optimum and effective operations and systems
  • Ensure profitability of the practice
  • Provide guidance to the Practice Manager on NHS developments and legislative changes
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and CQC standards
  • Ensure practice achieves local and national key performance indicators and targets

  • Promote the development and identify training needs of reception staff and provide support in the achievement of the objectives of their personal development review. As well as lead the reception staff appraisal system
  • Ensure effective supervise the work of the reception team and co-ordinate support services for other team members and ensure rapid response to incoming telephone calls and ensure appropriate action is taken and messages are recorded and take immediate corrective action when needed
