Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Plant Manager to support and deputize the General Manager in managing overall plant operations at our Arlington TX Electronics manufacturing facility producing Microinverters and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role includes Senior-Manager level responsibilities such as operational planning, cross-functional coordination, performance management, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the General Manager in managing end-to-end plant operations
  • Own plant KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
  • Plan and execute production schedules to meet business targets
  • Oversee SMT, PCB assembly, electronics assembly, battery pack assembly, testing, and final integration
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain
  • Drive Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, EHS, ESD, and battery safety standards
  • Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits
  • Monitor OEE, yield, downtime, scrap, and rework
  • implement corrective actions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor teams
  • Act as plant-in-charge in the absence of the General Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • 10–15 years of experience in electronics or power electronics manufacturing
  • Strong exposure to SMT, electronics assembly, and testing processes

Nice to have

  • Experience with inverters, microinverters, UPS, EV chargers, or battery systems preferred
  • Prior experience in Production Manager / Operations Manager / Deputy Plant Manager roles is an advantage
