Job Description

Our client, large beauty & skincare company, is looking for an Assistant Payroll Manager to join their team! This will be a fully remote role based out of the eastern time zone. The successful candidate will be an expert in ADP Workforce Now, have extensive multi-state payroll processing experience, and possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees at all levels. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and execute all payroll processing functions for a biweekly & monthly basis schedule (garnishments, sick pay, disability, special payments, etc.)
  • Process federal and state amendments and issues corrected W2s as needed
  • Reviewing quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Respond to employee inquiries and pay and taxes
  • Perform audits on external files related to retirement and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with state and local tax jurisdictions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
  • 2+ years of recent ADP Workforce Now experience is required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior experience working in the beauty, fashion, or retail industries is preferred
