Assistant Outlet Manager, The Lobby Lounge, you play a key leadership role in supporting the day-to-day operations of this vibrant and celebrated venue. Working closely with the Lounge Manager and leadership team, you help ensure seamless execution, exceptional service standards, and an elevated guest experience. This role is ideal for a service-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and is passionate about mentoring teams and making special happen.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver exceptional, personalized service aligned with luxury and MICHELIN Guide–recommended standards
Support the Lounge Manager in overseeing daily operations of The Lobby Lounge & RawBar, including service flow, staffing, and guest experience
Lead the floor during service, ensuring Forbes-level standards, consistency, and attention to detail
Actively engage with guests, handling feedback, resolving concerns, and creating personalized experiences
Coach, mentor, and support the Lounge team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture
Assist with scheduling, labor management, and cost controls to support business goals
Ensure all colleagues are knowledgeable in menus, cocktails, wine, and service standards
Uphold health, safety, liquor licensing, and company policies at all times
Support training initiatives, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and maintaining operational standards
Contribute ideas to enhance guest experience, service innovation, and lounge programming
Requirements:
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a high-volume lounge, bar, or luxury food & beverage environment
Strong passion for hospitality, service excellence, and guest engagement
Confident floor leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Solid understanding of beverage, cocktails, and lounge service (wine knowledge an asset)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Serving It Right certification required
Experience in a luxury hotel or Forbes-rated environment considered an asset
