Job Description:

Assistant Operations Manager for IKEA Food, responsible for leading and managing the IKEA Food function in the store to create positive customer experiences and drive sales through food service operations.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage the IKEA Food function in the store
Look at the store through the eyes of customers and walk the store regularly
Have daily dialogue with customers to get feedback and learn about their needs
Contribute to store business plan and IKEA Food action plans
Support manager in implementing action plans with the team
Contribute to relevant marketing and in-store activities
Ensure area is efficiently maintained, clean, organized, attractive and inviting
Create environment where IKEA culture is strong and diversity is valued
Act in accordance with IKEA Sustainability Direction
Take actions that contribute to sustainability such as waste management
Create awareness of IKEA Food as in-store marketing tool for maximizing sales

Requirements:

At least 3 years relevant experience in a leadership role managing a large team in a fast-paced food and/or retail environment
Experience working with a KPI-driven action plan
Knowledgeable in food safety (HACCP) guidelines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to lead, train, influence and collaborate with others
Sales-driven and cost-conscious
Passionate about food and people
