At Apricot Preschool, we’re seeking a passionate Assistant Nursery Manager (Preschool) to support our team in delivering exceptional care and education. Step into a leadership role where you’ll mentor, guide, and create brighter futures for children, families, and your team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education
  • Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing all aspects of nursery operations
  • Act as a role model, fostering an environment of initiative, creativity, and high standards of care
  • Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and external agencies
  • Monitor and guide the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework
  • Take responsibility for the nursery in the Nursery Manager’s absence
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Prior leadership experience in an early years setting
  • Leadership or supervisory experience (e.g., Assistant Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager)
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered)
