Assistant Nurse Manager

• Support the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care
• Manage daily operations of the unit, stepping in for the Nurse Manager when they are away, with the support of the Director
• Lead by example, demonstrating strong clinical skills and a high level of emotional intelligence
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and other departments to ensure seamless care and a positive working environment
• Utilize resources responsibly and delegate tasks to optimize team performance and resident outcomes

• A current, unencumbered Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license
• A BSN or equivalent, or the ability to obtain one within 18 months of hire
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a similar practice area
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including strong interpersonal communication and organizational excellence
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or the ability to obtain within one month of hire)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
