Job Description:

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager in our Women's OB unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This position is in our Labor and Delivery, Maternal Newborn unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Baptist Jacksonville is a Magnet™ designated hospital, the gold standard for excellence in patient care. Job Responsibility:

  • Providing nursing care patients on the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Assessment and reassessment of unit function
  • Acting as a liason for staff, physicians, and other departments
  • Being a resource for staff members, mentoring growth and providing feedback
  • Monitoring and adjusting shcedules in accordance with unit budget
  • Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual erformance reviews

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree - Nursing
  • 3-5 Years Labor and Delivery Experience
  • Nursing Management Experience
  • Charge Nurse Experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice to have:

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
