Software Resources has an immediate, contract job opportunity for an Assistant Merchandise Planner with a major corporation in Kissimmee, FL. Onsite, Monday-Thursday, Remote Fridays.
Job Responsibility
Develop and provide routine and non-routine business reports that leverage data from several systems to drive analysis by focusing on key performance indicator metrics examples such as sales trends, COGS, Margin, per capita, inventory
Assists in Development of strategic merchandise plans-sales margin, inventory and turn
Partner with Planner to identify key business concepts
Develop & maintain effective relationships with cross-functional partners and store operations
Requirements
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in multiple systems from Oracle, Business Objects, Tableau and Microsoft Office 365
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Abilities to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
1-2 years of experience
Nice to have
Experience in top-down & bottom-up financial planning processes and systems
Clear understanding of basic financial measures: sales, gross margins, weeks of supply, etc.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Merchandise Planning, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
