Job Description

Assistant Manager position at Circle K, overseeing operations in Romeoville, IL. The role involves managerial responsibilities, team training, customer service, and maintaining car wash systems. Candidates must possess leadership qualities and relevant supervisory experience.

Job Responsibility

Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable
Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending
Effectively provide training to new hires
Train on Opening/Closing checklists and proper loading techniques to teammates
Responsible for training Fast Pass sales techniques to the team
Professionally responds to voicemails and emails in a timely manner
Create an effective schedule
Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation
Clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system)
Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings
Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses
Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed
Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown

Requirements

High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred
Leadership and communication skills including active listening
Experience with team building
Excellent sales and customer service skills
Ability to anticipate customer needs
Proficient computer skills
Strong work ethics and professional attitude
Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role

Nice to have

Experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store
