Job Description:

Issuer Services serve GBM and CMB clients issuing Loans and Bonds into the Capital Markets. Night Shift role supporting U.S. Working Markets. Involves Loan Agency and Administration of floating rate loan product (ISV, GB, and CMB lending businesses). Responsibilities include handling syndicated loan agreements, position management, funding, and risk management. Additionally, Corporate Trust services support bond issuers and market exchanges. Collaborative and team-driven environment with a strong focus on compliance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

To authorize the processing and administration of Loan borrowings where HSBC provides Agency and Administration service for syndicated & bilateral loan deals
to authorise/validate/monitor the full range of administrative duties of servicing a deal
oversee the completion of all mandatory checks in line with Global Standards
responsible for compiling, generating and presenting all related MI reports to Senior Management Team
managing operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and controls
implement the Group Compliance Policy
proactively resolving problem situations and escalating as needed
motivating and developing teams to meet business objectives
sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues to achieve goals
ensuring effective workflow management and resource utilization
creating and designing reporting templates and tools for operational use

Requirements:

A post-graduate diploma or degree in any discipline
higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position
at least 3 years’ experience in securities industry
strong leadership skills evidenced by achievement of objectives together with a track record of development of individuals with strong organization and planning skills along with the ability to handle capacity and MI report
ability to build and maintain relations with business units and continuously give feedback by stringent follow up on service level agreements
evidence of strong analytical, statistical and data mining skills to study trends, make projections and to interpret numeric information
evidence of strong operational decision making and be able to provide analytical support to the teams
experience of successfully managing and developing a team in a previous role
evidence of process management skills with an ability to initiate process improvements
initiate cost control measures by achieving resource efficiency and managing overheads
fluency in spoken and written English is essential
flexible in working Night Shifts
