Assistant Manager | Castle Hill Tavern. Base salary from $76,600 + Super + Bonus Scheme + Group wide discounts. We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Castle Hill Tavern buzzing and loved by the locals. As the original 'local' pub in the Hills District, Castle Hill Tavern has a long-standing reputation for friendly, exceptional service. We are a multi-faceted venue catering to the community with a high-volume Family Bistro, dynamic TAB and gaming facilities, a popular beer garden, and two dedicated function rooms hosting corporate and private events. With a packed weekly schedule of live entertainment and trivia, we offer a fast-paced and rewarding team environment.

Job Responsibility

Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Requirements

Manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties
Current RSA, RSG/RCG and ARCG as per state requirements
